I'VE KNOWN BRIE & DON FOR SO LONG NOW BUT IT SEEMS LIKE IT WAS ONLY YESTERDAY THAT THEY GOT MARRIED. SEAN AND I WERE LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO DOCUMENT THEIR WEDDING DAY. IT WAS FILLED WITH SO MUCH LOVE & GREAT MUSIC (WITH AN EVENING FILLED WITH DUETS FROM THESE TWO LOVEBIRDS). DON & BRIE BOTH HAVE THEIR FEET IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND AS SOON AS I WALKED IN, IT WAS CLEAR TO ME THAT LITTLE SCARLETT WOULD GROW UP SURROUNDED BY GOOD TUNES & EVEN BETTER VIBES. THEY PLAYED SOME VINYLS, DANCED, DON PLAYED SOME GUITAR AND BRIE SANG TO HER SWEET GIRL AND IT REMINDED ME HOW LUCKY CHILDREN WHO GROW UP WITH PASSIONATE PARENTS ARE. THEIR LOVE OF MUSIC WILL PASS ON AND THAT'S A PRETTY SPECIAL THING TO WITNESS.


WE REMINISCED ON OLD TIMES AND CHATTED ABOUT OUR NEW ROLES AS PARENTS IN THIS LIFE. WITNESSING YOUR FRIENDS GO THROUGH TRANSITIONS AND EBBS AND FLOWS AND WITNESSING THEM EXPERIENCE THE JOY OF BEING PARENTS WHILE ALSO BEING ABLE TO BE REAL ABOUT THE HARDER DAYS IS QUITE EXTRAORDINARY. I'M SO LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CAPTURE THEIR LOVE & THOSE MEMORIES ON A BLIZZARD OF AN AFTERNOON. I'M PRETTY CERTAIN IT WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SNOWSTORM WE HAD THAT WINTER. AS SOMEONE WHO NOTICES THE DUALITY IN EVERYTHING, IT WAS SO MEMORABLE TO CAPTURE SUCH SWEET AND TENDER MOMENTS WHILE THE STORM RAGED JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR.
